This might just be the easiest truffle recipe you have ever made! I am a HUGE fan of Lindt Excellence chocolate bars, so incorporating my favorite one into these truffles was an easy YES!! Make these for your next baby or bridal shower, grad party, or a fun easy dessert!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3 Lindt Intense Orange Chocolate bars
- Cocoa powder
~Chop up your chocolate bars into small pieces and place in a heat safe bowl.
~To a saucepan add 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, and over medium heat stir constantly until almost boiling. Pour the heated whipping cream over the chocolate and let sit two minutes.
~Stir the chocolate mixture until all the chocolate pieces have melted. Cover and place the chocolate mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours until solid.
~Once chilled, scoop chocolate and roll into balls of your desired size. These are very rich, so I recommend about a 1-inch diameter or less.
~Roll each truffle in cocoa powder. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve. These would also be amazing rolled in chopped almonds or coconut.
These truffles are so delicious and can be made a variety of ways. You could use plain chocolate and add in extracts or liqueurs of your choice. There are also so many amazing candy bars available that you could use as well.
Let me know if you make these yourself!
