Shopping, dining, and enjoying the city you live in has never meant more than it has this past 18 months. It takes a village, truly, to keep our cities alive and thriving. This year let’s make it a point to support our city, and Shop Dine, and Enjoy Auburn this Holiday Season!

I live here in Auburn, and during the early days of the pandemic, my family and I chose to do take-out every Friday night from a local business right here in Auburn. We ordered from some favorites and found some great new restaurants that are now on our regular rotation. Keep reading, and I will share a few I think you should try!
The Holidays are another great opportunity to shop and dine local, and enjoy some fun “Holiday Happenings” Auburn has to offer this Holiday Season! I have rounded up some upcoming events, I’m sharing my favorite shopping destination, and more!

Events:
From book theme decorated trees to Santa photos, there are lots of fun events to get you in the Holiday spirit. Below are a few of my favorites, and you can head HERE to see all available events, times, and locations!

SANTA Parade and Tree Lighting
December 4, 2021 4:30pm
Main Street, Downtown Auburn
One of Auburn’s most loved traditions is Santa’s arrival. Heading down Main Street the parade ends right at City Hall for the annual Tree Lighting. Make sure to grab a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and a famous truffle from Gosanko’s before the parade starts!

Shopping
The Outlet Collection | Seattle
Auburn is lucky to be home to the largest outlet shopping mall in the Pacific Northwest! Housing some of my personal FAVORITE stores like H&M, Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, and Bed Bath and Beyond…there is a store for everyone on your list! Make sure to take time to grab a bite to eat and have some fun at Dave & Busters or Johnny Rockets, or ride the carousel.

SHOP Small Saturday – November 27, 2021

Remember: This Saturday, November 27th, is Shop Small Saturday, but you can always shop local anytime! Here are a few ideas to get you started!
Classic Farmhouse – Make sure to visit their NEW location on Main Street! You will find holiday decor, great gift ideas and clothing!
A Little Knitty – Do you have a knitter or crocheter in your life? A gift certificate for supplies or a class would make a great grift!
Rail Hop’N Brewing Co – How about a growler of seasonal beer for the beer lover? This would also make a great hostess gift!
Dining
You don’t have to leave Auburn to find some great food! From Thai food to a great burger, there is something to suit everyone’s taste. Below are a few of my family’s favorites that I think you will love as well!
Gor Gai offers a great Vegan and Gluten-Free menu!

One of the BEST Asian sandwiches I have ever had!

Affordable and deliciously authentic, the Chile Relleno is my favorite!
