Happy Monday! I was invited by my friends, Cyndi Spivey and Jo-Lynne Shane to be a part of their Summer Style Series, and I am so excited! I was introduced to both of these lovely ladies here on Instagram, and I know you will adore them as much as I do! They both have a great classic style and positive energy that makes you want to be friends. Thanks so much, Cyndi and Jo-Lynne for inviting me today!
Today we are sharing How to Style White Jeans with Sandals
I am a HUGE fan of white denim year-round, but I especially love them in the Summer! To kick it off I am wearing a pair of one of my favorite silhouettes, the crop kick flare. The flare adds so much interest down by the ankle, that a sandal with minimal straps tends to look best. I love this gold pair, and would you believe they are $40?
Here, I put on my new favorite Teva sandals for a more sporty vibe. These sandals are SO on-trend right now, and I will be the first to admit, I NEVER thought I would own a pair. Well, never say never, and now they are what a grab most days to run errands because they are so comfy!
The high-rise wide-leg jean. I personally LOVE this style! I don’t, however, love them with sneakers, so I am happy it is sandal season. To me, they need a simple sandal with thin straps to really just show off your foot and the fun wide leg.
I do think they work with heels, but again, just a narrow strap that peeks out is most flattering. Below I am showing you which sandal NOT to wear with this style of jeans. The wideband looks clunky and awkward and makes the pant leg sit on top which then bunches up. If you are shorter, then to get the right length make sure to get them altered!
