HOW TO STYLE: Wide Leg Jeans 🖤 I’m having fun with wide leg jeans, they’re very “on trend”, but know for some they can feel a little intimidating. My biggest tip is to find the “width” that feels right with your body type. I love this pair with their high rise and not too wide leg (and they’re a great price!)

Pair your Denim with a more fitted style top like a tee, vest, or slim/more fitted sweater for an easy look. I also love them paired with a cropped style jacket or go for the loose/loose look like I did here with a blazer!

When it comes to shoes, it depends on the Look and length you’re going for! I wanted to wear a small heel , but also have them puddle a bit when wearing a sneaker or loafer so went with a longer inseam.

The evolution of my style from my 40’s to 50’s

The evolution of my style from my 40’s to 50’s 😉 With age comes wisdom, and well maybe a better sense of style too! 🙈10 years ago, I wore what was “in style”…skinny jeans, bold pattern mixing, tunic tops,and velvet booties 🤣

What has evolved for me is that I still love wearing and seeing what’s happening in fashion, but incorporating it in a more subtle classic way. Here’s how I have evolved my personal style over the years:

•Wear the “on trend” color as an accent ( bag, shoe, hat, coat)
•Monochromatic looks are always chic
•Find classic pieces that never go out of style
•Neutrals are always a great outfit base
•Invest in good basics( a great pair of jeans, a cashmere sweater, beautiful leather boots, a classic blazer)
•Don’t spend a lot of money on a trendy item unless you KNOW you’re going to love it!
