The Staple Dress You Need In Your Closet
We are all looking forward to the reopening of “life” as we knew it, aren’t we? Date nights, girls’ nights, weddings, showers, all the things that we have missed this past year. Maybe you are heading back to the office as well. I don’t know about you, but my work/outing wardrobe took a back seat to my work-from-home/casual everyday needs last year., but I have found the staple dress you need in your closet!
The Shirtdress is the dress you need. I am looking forward to getting a little dressed up, whether I am just running errands or headed to meet a girlfriend for lunch! If you love a button-down as I do, this one is a no-brainer. They are classic, so chic, and really a one-and-done outfit! These dresses are usually in a solid color or stripes, short or long sleeves, and have a “pop” to their collar for a little prep!
This classic Poplin Shirt Dress from Chicos Black Label collection is a classic style I love. I’ve styled it here with a belt, but you can use the tie for a really simple look. I added these casual sandals to give it a “European tourist” vibe, which I LOVE!

When you find something you love, grab it in another color! I could not pass up this bright pink number. Color is definitely on trend for Summer and this beauty fits right in! Using the dress tie on this one keeps it looking a little more minimal. I loved it paired with braided white heels and bag, and love the contrast!
