Tips for Healthy Aging Hair!

Age is just a number, but that being said, I still see and feel the physical changes every day. We can’t stop the clock, but we can change how we look at aging and find products to help with some of the changes we’re noticing. My hair has been one of the biggest changes I have noticed. It is funny, my hair is the longest it has been now at 53 than it was in my 20s! I am doing what I can to keep it healthy and that has started by using Hair Biology products! They are specifically made for aging hair and have made such a difference in the look and feel of my hair. Hair Biology believes in celebrating age and the changes that come along with it!

Just like our skin, hair shows signs of aging as well. Dullness, thinning, dryness, and overall quality are a few of the concerns. Hair Biology products are formulated to work with your unique biology. Read on for my 5 tips for Healthy Aging Hair Including using Hair Biology!
Tips for Healthy Aging Hair
Treat
Not only is a healthy diet and supplements important to hair health, but using great products is as well! I am loving Hair Biology’s Vivid & protected line to help protect against damage from color treatment, especially those gray hairs. It also helps fight dullness and protects hair from damage to prevent color fade. I also love that their products are made with biotin and are free of sulfates!

Moisturize
Just like your skin, hair needs to be moisturized! I use a deep conditioning mask at least once a week, and Hair Biology’s Color Sealing Mask features biotin-infused conditioning technology that helps seal damaged hair surfaces, protecting from fade-out to keep color vibrant 2X longer.* Not only do I color treat my hair every 8 weeks, I also get Brazilian Blowouts every 4 months, so my hair takes a beating. Using this mask helps to keep my hair soft and my color lasting until my next appointment!

Wash Less
Gone are the days of washing my hair every day. We have come to learn that a few natural oils are great for our hair and scalp. So spread those wash days out a bit longer! Also, after washing, I always wrap my hair in a microfiber towel and let it air dry as long as possible before I blow dry!
Shine
I am always looking to make my hair look as shiny as it did when I left the salon! Hair Biology’s Argan Oil Taming serum is amazing. I use a couple of pumps on wet hair from my neck to the ends, and then I like to go back with just a little more after my hair is styled to rub through the ends and on any last gray flyaways!

If you’re coloring those grays, like I am ;), or planning to let nature take its course, Hair Biology’s line of Shampoo and Conditioners will have you covered, and will keep your hair soft and looking beautiful!
